12 Days In Tunisia…featured
Jake and I have spent the last week or so feeling really giddy because we’ve finally booked our first holiday away together. We’re going to Tunisia for a whopping 12 days in June. You’re probably sat there thinking “well, a 12 day holiday is hardly very thrifty is it?” But in reality, it’s not so bad.
It has cost us around £550 each for an all-inclusive break. I’d argue that’s pretty decent for almost a fortnight in paradise.
The reviews for the hotel are extremely positive. I’m sure you’ll agree that hundreds of positive reviews in a row can be pretty difficult to come by on TripAdvisor. After all, people are more likely to leave a negative review than they are to leave a positive one.
Since I’m a coeliac and need to eat gluten free food, one of our main concerns before booking the holiday was whether or not I’ll be able to eat the food. This led us to decide that all inclusive at a hotel with 4 or 5 stars would probably be our best option. The last thing we want is to have to wander round the streets of Tunisia for a couple of hours every evening on the lookout for somewhere that is gluten-free friendly. After looking through tons of other holiday makers’ photos, we noticed loads of plates filled with meat, vegetables and potatoes. Perfect for me! There also seems to be a lot of cake going on. I can’t wait to watch Jake eat it all…
It’s definitely going to be hard to resist the temptation of all the great food, but I’m so excited for this holiday. I can’t wait to spend 12 days relaxing in the sunshine without a care in the world. Bliss.
