Get 3 Months’ Spotify Premium for just 99p

Life & Style, Money, Saving Money

Updated 22nd November 2016: Good news! New Spotify Premium customers can now get three months of music for just 99p.

Usually Spotify Premium costs £9.99 a month (though students are entitled to 50% off normally) so this deal means you’ll only be paying 33p a month, saving you £28.98 for the three months!

I’ve been using Spotify for a good few years now. At first I made use of their free version, but then I got tired of the adverts in between songs so I upgraded to Spotify Premium. This now allows me to access millions of tracks at my fingertips no matter where I am. Spotify Premium also lets you to download the tracks to your phone, so that you can listen to them even if you aren’t connected to the internet. This is particularly ideal if you don’t want to run up a big data bill.

Because of this deal, I’m guessing a lot of current Spotify Premium account owners will be thinking of deleting their subscriptions and signing up again to make use of this Spotify deal.

It’s worth noting that by signing up for a new account you won’t be able to access all your old playlists that you created before. If you don’t mind a fresh start this might not be a big deal.

To make use of this great offer, visit the Spotify Premium website.

Worth noting: You can cancel at any point in the Spotify 3 month trial but if you don’t cancel before the three months are up you’ll be automatically signed up for the monthly payments at £9.99. I’d definitely recommend sticking with Spotify Premium if you’re going to use it though, it’s well worth a tenner if you listen to music a lot.

If you’re a student, don’t forget to make use of the Spotify Premium student discount. Read the full T&Cs.

Instagram post 2260458469165879607_43786404 In work this morning a family came to my checkout and plonked their shopping basket on the belt before standing and watching me unpack it all. The audacity!!! The disrespect!!! Sure, unpacking the basket for them doesn't do me any harm and I'll often offer to do it for the elderly or those with screaming kids, but as I'm sure most supermarket workers will agree, there's something disrespectful about a customer expecting you to do it for them without so much as asking for your help. I was so mad I couldn't even look this family in the eye 🙈
When they walked off and the coast was clear, I had a petty moan about it to a manager. He told me that next time a customer does it, I'm allowed to politely ask them to do it themselves
I know this might sound stupid but it hadn't occured to me that I can actually stand up for myself on this one. Confrontation has never been my thing and when someone does something to piss me off, I'll bottle it up and let the rage bubble inside me
Well!!! It just so happened that after the manager gave me permission to politely tell customers where to put their baskets 😏 the next customer did the same thing
I don't know what came over me but without even thinking about it I took the manager's advice and said: "Excuse me... do you mind unpacking your basket?" And guess what happened? The guy apologised and did what he was told!

I felt so powerful. I felt so authorititive. I got a buzz from it - an adrenaline rush
I know this is such a silly minor thing but imagine if I stood up for myself like this in all areas of my life. 29 YEARS IT'S TAKEN ME BUT I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN. Happy International Women's Day to me 💪💪💪 🎨:@cecile.dormeau
