About Janine Marsh

I’m Janine Marsh and my aim is to try to support people to make wise money choices, especially now the cost of living is so high. I’ve struggled financially, lived in my overdraft and I have learnt how to be thrifty and efficient with my money. As a Mum of two young energetic boys, I understand how hard the funds juggle can be.

After recently getting stung with a £600 bailiff charge, my latest crusade is against parking tickets and debt collectors!

Broadcasting is the other love of my life, nationally I can still be heard on BBC Five Live and I spent over a decade on the Bauer radio stations on Rock Fm in the North West and Hallam FM in Yorkshire.

I’ve always been passionate about trying to cut down spending costs and have left no voucher unturned which led to a podcast I did called Coupod with my friend Michelle. Helping other families find weekly bargains and save a few pennies.

My mission with Thrifty Family is to share as much knowledge as I possibly can to help your money go that little bit further. I want to be that person you can rely on for sound advice and to build a community that all share tips to get us through these tough times.
